ZEAL, the cultural fest of Dr. B.C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur was celebrated with lots of enthusiasm this year. The 2 day fest (14th and 15th April 2011) which took place in the college campus was a complete package of entertainment and refreshment. Inspite of all the obstacles Zeal 2011 turned into a reality after 3 years. Thanks to all the guys and specially Professor Saikat Maity who made Zeal 2011 possible. Amit Sana, runner of the first season of Indian Idol and Madhubanti Basu, a new find of a talent show of a Bengali Channel Rupasi Bangla were the star performers of the day. Zeal 2011 even had to survive few blows of winds. A part of the stage was badly damaged by those blows. You can see here some repair work is being done by the students. This shows the indomitable spirit of the BCREC students. And this is the spirit of "Zeal" !!!! :)
